Say hello and introduce yourself!
I'm Al, I live in the south of England (where we are currently having a monstrous heat wave), and I've been gaming since 2002. The vast majority of the time I've been involved in the hobby has been running games in various editions of Dungeons & Dragons but I've also run World of Darkness, Burning Wheel, a bunch of d20 games (like Star Wars Saga), and some smaller indie games like The Shadow of Yesterday.
I've been aware of Savage Worlds for a number of years but only in passing - it wasn't until late 2011 that I picked up the book and started to run games. Since then I've largely been running Pathfinder APs* using Savage Worlds (for me it's just a better fit to my playstyle than the Pathfinder rules).
I came across Shaintar by accident about 24 hours before the end of kickstarter, and I decided right then and there to get involved. For me, Shaintar is a setting that generates the kind of stories I've been participating in for years, and all with the streamlined (yet still deliciously crunchy) rules of Savage Worlds.
I'm also very interested in becoming involved in Justice & Life. I've never participated in a living campaign.
*Just to mention I'm not usually a module/adventure path guy - in fact for my first nine years of running games I never used one - they've just worked well for me recently.
