Eldakar reclaim their

Eldakar reclaim their rightful place at the world's helm?  :)

Of the choices, Desert Princes, recovering the lost artifacts of the ascended and the destruction that could/would be unleashed.  I'm kind of envisioning the great dig in, Cairhien I believe (it's been a long time since I read The Wheel of Time).  The great Sa' Angreal that ended up cleansing Saidin.

Dúnedhel Vala!

Lets be candid here, the

Lets be candid here, the Desert Princes is a region mainly ignored for numerous reasons including its locale as a fault. Stationed near the Malakar Dominion and to an extent Kal-A-Nar makes it decent neutral grounds. The Desert Princes guidebook will be out in the near future....hopefully as promised having stats on Mummies The Lost Empire of the Golden Sun itself is a mystery in itself with Magic and Cosmology revealing portions of its importance to everything.

As this is in the General

As this is in the General section and not Justice and Life section I have to ask; Is this about the general direction of Shaintar and its published content or is this about its Justice and Life content?

I am seeking input on future J&L Story Arcs. This is strictly for our collaborative play purposes. That said, depending on GM/Player input, I will always seek to work with Savage Mojo to coordinate as much as possible between book releases and our plots.

Well as someone that doesn't

Well as someone that doesn't have a horse in this race (so to speak speak) I'd rather have it focus on the factions within the Wildlands, Freelands and those locations. Its had to deal with Kal-A-Nar, Shaya Nor, Camden, Morden witches, Offspring, a Tempest that ravaged the entire land and others not even mentioned since the start of the Justice and Life took off. The South has been ravaged by everything in Shaintar and a couple of things beyond and while the Sword that is Gaela and the Shield that is Olara may have bent it never gave way. The lands of the South and its people are likely tired and beyond exhausted from dealing with all these external threats so much so that internal conflict is likely bubbling up all over the place.

All of that I'd like to see the South more focused on. There are got to be pirate captains on the rivers and the Archpelago ready to take advantage of this focus, bandit kings and lords rdding out, Barons and Dukes plotting and planning their own expansions are the costs of their neighbors, Mercanary captians deciding to carve out a kingdom of their own as people did in history.

Basically the South seems to have have been challenged by everything around it why not give the South the chance to be challenged by its potentially strongest opponent, itself. One example of a storyline I was always thinking of running (but never did as my PCs were never Rangers so it wasn't worth running) is that various nations, none of the 'big ones' but enough of the small ones to matter, threaten to pull out of the Ranger Accords (or whatever the agreement is to fund the rangers) and now the Rangers have to deal with a threat to their purse strings and thei freedom to defend the South. The end result may be some big conspiracy against the Rangers or simply a lot of opportunistic people playing games but its the South dealing with issues created by the South.
