Bloodsoothers

The requirements for the Edge to become a Bloodsoother includes Warrior-Adept of the Jade Flame is this a requirement that exists purely for mechanics or is there something more between the two groups? If there is something more do Bloodsoothers serve 'two masters' in a sense, the Jade Flame and the Bloodsoothers? One of the reasons I ask is because I can't find anything in the Bloodsoother entries (or the book itself) that points to a greater connection. Paranoid that I missed something I used the search feature and Jade Flame is only mentioned in the Edge itself.

Also the way it sounds from the entry on the Bloodsoothers they existed 800+ years before the Jade Flame (if I understand it). The Dragon Wars that are mentioned as the timeframe for the founding was in the 2200's and the Jade Flame was founded in the 3000's. In not sure if that mixes, clashes or effects the Bloodsoothers in anyway.

Good news is the book should be released very shortly for your concerns on this.  It will be shown in the Goblinesh Guidebook. Honestly its a case of taking the druid and adept professional edges, perhaps more.  Stacking warrior of the Jade Flame and Soulguard as well could reinforce the concept of battling darkness and flame.

According to the Gathers book its a cross between a new Edge in the book and the Adept Edge that grants access to the Priest powers not the Druid because of the Silver Tree. Other then the two mentions in the Bloodsoothers Edge I couldn't find one mention of the Jade Flame in the 19 page pdf which is why I'm confused on the requirement.

One thing that's mentioned here and there, and will be detailed more greatly in the appropriate Guidebook(s), is the fact that there are other Warrior-Adept orders and practices. The Jade Flame is the "current biggie," but there are other ways to become a Warrior-Adept, gaining the same mechanical abilities.
